I have an 89 carb festy that the rings are shot in and idk what to do. Will a escort gt motor bolt in a all stock festy ?? Need serious help

Yes but your carb car is gunna be more challenging you need to go efi . Or make a manifold and carb the bp.
Unless you already have the bp I say get a first gen b6 and use the festiva intake . Or get another b3. -

B3 is the stock engine. He's saying the simplest thing is just swap in another stock engine.
Being carbed hurts swapability immensely.
You posted this a while ago.
Have you swapped to an Escort carb yet? If yes, any other swap you want is just a custom or modded manifold and a rejet/tune away. If not, you're in for a bigger job if you want to swap to EFI too.Last edited by sketchman; 01-05-2016, 03:44 PM.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
