  • Junk Yarding in single digit temps.

I think the windchill today was below zero but i was still compelled to go to the jy for a part. They refer to me as the Festiva king there but that crown is reserved for others on this forum in my opinion.Anyway i get there and the owner tell me he got a "new" festy in that he saved and set aside for me.Looks to be a solid dd that once he gets the paperwork he is going to let me have for a song and a dance.I agreed with my wife i wouldnt buy another right now but have informed her that i am getting another lol.Sometimes she is to good to me.

Brrr. Yea a local yard asks me when I stop what Festiva part I'm after now....LOL. I threw them a curve ball the last time and asked about Buick Century parts. Ha.

Right at the 'wrist'. 40 miles due west of toodelleedoo, oh-hiya.

I see you're up by the rapids that are grand.

Funny thing is I don't remember seeing any impressive rapids on the Grand river around here.I think i remember chatting before and asking where you were.Hard to say for sure cause my memory can be crap.

I enjoy subzero junkyarding. No mud, no wasps, no mosquitos + much less competition. Just remember not to lick anything that's made of metal.

That last line made me think of the kid on the play ground that licked the flag pole in a Christmas Story.I had one of those leg lamps for a while lol.

If i told you i might have to kill you lol.Are you the young man that came over a couple weeks ago for an ignition switch and other random parts.Ran into a festy guy this morning in town i had given an 89 parts car to a couple years ago.Turns out he hit a deer and bent his subframe.Bummer.

Does that car have a good gas tank? And, by pure coincidence, the key from that cylinder worked in the lx 100%, then I found the original key the next day. ( had been lost for 5 months)

Yes it does have a good tank.We should get together and yank it and inspect.Might be willing to trade for a good ignition switch lol.If you still have my no.Have your people get with my people and we will getter done.I am hoping to have it out and on my trailer by next weekend to open a bay for a project.
