  • any body in the Asheville area help a young lady get her festy going?

she has a 88 and a 89. one (88) needs a crank and the other needs a piston or ring - oil blowing back up through carb. 88 is RUSTY and has the bad crank - 89 is rust free. any good and honest mechanics out that way that could help her out let me know and pm me with info and I will forward to her.

    thanks

I believe she's thinking of just pulling both carbed engines and putting the crank out of the 89 in the 88 engine and then putting that 88 engine back in the 89.

I am three hours out, I would suggest if your gonna pull the crank anyway, and have the engines out, to freshen it up at least. If she can afford it, and can pay some costs I might be able to help, I am 3 hours away though.
