cutting axles

Anything other than a plasma torch that will cut axles? The sawsall with the metal blade wont even nick them, god.


And the car is up on its side so I can only get the top one out. I though the SA would have cut through them guess I should have checked before rolling the car.

Get a right angle grinder and put on a thin cut off wheel. Will go right thru it.

I've cut them with a oxy/acetylene torch before, no problem.

Use a sawzall with a composite/cast iron blade or an angle grinder..

yeah, I cut a set with a die grinder w/ cut off wheel..

used the grinder blade, besides almost loosing a finger because the blade was too big to have a gaurd on It cut really well.
