  • Horn Wire to Relay...

    I have a 1990 5-speed.

Looking for the plastic jack to where the horn wire goes. I know it must be a single wire jack
and I see 2 of them in my engine bay that are empty but none of them put out energy when
the horn button is pressed. I can hear the relay when I press the horn button, does that mean
the relay is good or can the relay be bad even though I here it click?

i think the relay clik is a good indication that it's good. you'd have to use a meter to be sure. but the plastic jack? you just mean the terminal that pushes onto the horn spade? i don't think this is in the engine compartment. those wires should be on the outside between the radiator support and the bumper brace. kinda hard to see. better if you look up from under bumper. i think this wire might be part of the bundle that goes to the turn signals
