  • Engine swap

This is just to get an idea of a price for a full bp plus trans swap. I work to much to much and do not have the skill set to do this on my own. I will have no engine, transmission or anything else for that matter. I know prices vary on all the parts. I need a rough estimate of total cost plus labor. If you are interested post and let me know.

    Hi Jhli,
If I were in your situation, I would give shadetree a PM. He is a known reputable, competent member here in our forum. I know for a fact he will arrange to pick up your car and get the swap done, tested and delivered back to you. Most average mechanics will not have the will or time or ability to do a complete swap without gladly charging you an exorbitant amount of money for a half correct result. Services like shadetree provides are rare in todays world and should be considered, especially when given the factors listed in your OP.

Second the motion of the above statement by red90festyonair and would only add that he is a specialist with Festivas that you're not going to find in the run-of-mill mechanics. He has done 2(B6s) for me and several others I know of.
