  • Little Button ?

There is a little white button that sticks through a hole in the plastic cover of the drivers side rear wheel. Under the grill for the rear speaker. It is in an 89 automatic FI festy. Could someone tell me what it is for?

Yes it is , so when you get rear ended the switch trips and disables the fuel pump so if the is a fuel leak ,it does not add fuel to the fire
Then if the car is drivable you can reset it , sometimes it can trip with a minor bump bump
