Hey guys, I love driving, especially off road, so my dream is to race Rally, maybe even WRC down the line, but I have no idea how to get started. Once I get my car back up and running, I'll be going to autocross and track days and eventually a rally racing school, but I don't know what to do after that. Does anyone know of any entry level events/clubs/sanctioning bodies I should look into? Thank you all of the much!

The only way to get into racing is to go to the races and meet people and talk to people and learn. You're extremely lucky to live in a state with such a huge amount of Motorsport options. There is no excuse for you to not be involved.
Racing itself is expensive to do, but it's not expensive to get in on the action. I started visiting rally races as a young kid, then started working the course as a teenager, then building cars as a young adult. I've since worked everything from the Rolex24 to The NHRA top fuel nationals. I've made more money than I've spent on racing and I've met a lot of great people doing it. The trick is to go and do it.Last edited by Advancedynamix; 09-13-2016, 12:34 PM.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.
