A really cool one would be made from the back half of a festiva.

I couldn't find any prices. What are they going for new?

I'd be interested in the five foot wide model.

If I could get it painted to match the festiva, I think I might save up for one :-)

The hitch I just ordered for my fest is rated up to 1000 lbs, though I don't know what the tongue weight limit is.

Oh, I just found prices on these little guys:

The Rascal, which is the smallest trailer with a sleep space sells for $5,495.

The 4-wide Retro and 4-wide Platform, which could both be pulled by a Festiva, are each $4,995.

Man one of these would be cool.

There are also those plans that you can buy and build a small teardrop on one of those $200 Harbor Freight utility trailers. If you've got the know-how, that would be a cool way to go. I think the plans are about $60. No idea how much materials might cost, though.

Typically, tongue weight is 10% of rated weight, for a single axle trailer, so 100lbs! Can be done by careful loading of trailer.
You have OEM springs? Which for towing is better.
FMS lowering spring do not have the same load capacity as the OEMs!

Yep! And thanks for the information. I'll try to keep the Fest's ass off the ground.
