  • Went to car show in Mt. Pleasant Today.

I drove over to the bridges to a car show in Mt. Pleasant today and took some pictures.
Ford went a little wild with the chrome on the hardtop convertible in 59.

59 Ford was my first car, but not a fancy one like that. A 4 door, 6 cyl, 3 on the column. About the only similarity with that one is the tail lights.

My first one was a '57 Meteor Rideau 500 four door, 292 Y-block, three speed column shift. It was a Canadian version of the Fairlane (I think). I joke that the chrome on that car weighs more than my Festiva !
