No not those kind of models.huhuhh Are the California cars any different than the other 49 states? ie. (emmisions & safety). May be buying a car from there and was just wondering. Thanks.

No, unless it's a super early production first half of '88 car, those (very few) had a different trans. But other than that... All are same.Trees aren't kind to me...

Its in the 4-speed tranny. One of them, 4th gear was like 4th gear in a 5-speed, the other one 4th gear was like 5th gear in a 5-speed. I've had both the different 4-speeds.Originally posted by bhazard View Post

Calif carbie has a sensor on the EGR valve and wiring harness has jumpers removed - 2 on the 88, one on the 89.When I'm good I'm very, very good and when I'm bad I'm HORRID.Comment
