LED driving light bar suggestions

anybody have a suggestion on a good cheap led light bar for use when driving? The Aspire has gotten crappier over the years and with multiple (3+) good polishings it just doesn't do anything anymore... we drive with high beams on and it is worse than the stock Festiva with low beams..... I don't feel like paying over $500 for a set of brand new headlight housings

Now would it be best to put lights in the hole below the bumper next to the licence plate (2x10 inch bars) or on the bumper between the headlights in front of the grill? (1x20 inch bar)

Choose the 9003/H4 bi-xenon bulb in 4300k or 5000k color (I prefer the 4300k). I've had these installed in Caety's car for 5+ years and have replaced only one bulb.

Don't want to use the stock housing they are junk and less than half of the light penetrates them

Far too bright lol maybe you can get a decent used set of housings for cheap alot of people doing the aspire swap just scrap them afterwards so you could probably find someone or one in the junkyard

Most all of the ones in wrecking yards or on eBay or Craigslist are just the same or if not worse than what is already on the car.... doesn't do me any good... even sanding them down with high grit sand paper and buffing out doesn't work anymore such a good car and can't drive it in the dark... aftermarket lighting is the best option at this point

You of all people would recommend drop in HID's in a halogen reflector housing?

Besides don't our cars take 9004's?

Yes I would in this case because I took the extra 5 min to properly aim the lights, and aspires take 9003.

The drop in hid makes up for it easily. Besides, you can't go rolling around without working headlights even with auxiliary lighting.

The aspire doesn't have 9003 bulbs it has 9004 bulbs

I just put led pods on mine the other day. I took the bumper clips out that hold the plastic on. Put my lights on either side of the license plate. The mount fits perfectly and makes a clean setup.
