    Any eco modders here?

Taped seams, covered wheelwells, hypermiling techniques?

One guy but i cant remember who. Head to the ecomodder forum and search festivas. The guy had a similar screen name on there as he did here.

Mikeyjd is his screen name but he's not on here much anymore.
Not sure if he still has the festiva or not.
Grill block , wheel covers , rear wheel skirts and good driving habits with pulse and glide can net you over 75 mpgs!
I hypermile but I do it in a 99 for taurus! Lol my festiva only gets 35-37 with the g series transmission.
I can get 34+ in the taurus with ac blasting. Grill block and wheel covers along with torque app and mpg add on.

Here's a shot of my pizza pan wheel covers good for 1.3 mpgs.
Next is mirror delete and rear wheel skirts.

I hypermiled my Festy when it had the stock motor and 5-speed, and 155/80-13 tires.

          Hwy @ 45 mph* = 62.5 mpg
          Hwy @ 55 mph = 58.0 mpg
          Hwy @ 60 mph = 52.5 mpg

City using various techniques** = 50.0 mpg

          * This was done at dawn on a Sunday so as not to be too much of a hassle/danger for others.

** Shutting off motor when approaching yellow or red lights, coasting whenever possible, moderate acceleration, never accelerate up a hill, etc.
