Remove the covers behind the steering wheel then there's 1 screw holding the ignition switch on. Remove that screw and then the switch and use a screwdriver to crank the switch. There are also 2 wires that go to the column to a switch for the column lock. You may have to jumper those 2?

How do you think I get all my Festivas?

Actually I learned about this during the past few weeks. My GTX didn't come with a key or tumblers so I had to swap out the key part. My BP car had a bad switch and the car wouldn't always start and sometimes stalled while driving. So I had to mess with this last week to get it ready for the meet.

                        Hmmm...

Most of my festivas had interchangeable keys! I could start both of my '88s and my cousins '92 with the same key, actually I could start them with my key to my 1978 Fiesta as well! Explain that! The keys were identical! However my current aspire will start with anything just put about half of a key down in the ignition, and brake it off, then all you need is the tip of something, or a screwdriver, and it should start right up!

Yeah ford keys are sometimes like that. My mom opened a Aerostar van door for a lady at work with my stepdads Mustang key. They were both old and worn out so I guess tolerences aren't that critical.

my key wouldn't work, so i use my two best friends, Mr. Hammer and Mr. Chisel. I can start it now with a screw driver. Oh by the way my brothers s-10 key will unlock my door.
