  • found on eBay, why am I bothering with my B6T swap?

This baby will give me up to 100 H.P. increase and also give me up to 25 additional MPG? The key words are "up to" .......LOL

Why settle for 100hp? Buy five of them and get 500hp. Just have to figure if you mount them in series or in parallel 😆

Buyer beware, this is only compatible with 94 and up vehicles. Better call and request an earlier model!

Clearly we are all schmucks, trying to get better performance by swapping motors, turboing, etc. Charlie should install one (or five) of these on a stock B3 Festy and take it on the track. I predict instant suicide of all other drivers when he opens the hood to show them his setup, after lapping everyone--twice.

I'm going to get one of these to add with it, also it matches because my car is blue, should get something in the range of 140hp and 40 mpg more with the 2 of them together.

Back in college my Pro-E teacher was working on a prototype motor for a guy. The motor was a 4cyl disk. Very very small. It put out right at 100hp and was very efficient. The design was to be able to stay the motors on end. The idea was to put one at each wheel or two at each rear wheel with all electronic everything else. They had a working motor and was getting very far on it. I have no clue what ever happened to it. Would have been nice to get my hands on the drawings and money to make them...

2 at each wheel for one monster festiva! The motor was super light weight! I remember picking it up with a smile on my face.

So obviously, 10 Turbonators installed in line would yield an additional 70 - 100 HP. Amazing that the big car manufacturers have not discovered this yet.

Wouldn't you have to have them turning opposite directions like when you double up Airplane Propellers?

Not sure. Come to think of it, I strongly suspect Matt Dickmeyer does not actually do any headwork, he just installs Turbonators in the intake runners.....

As a prank, you could install one backwards in the exhaust, and it would blow all the exhaust gases back upstream, canceling all power. The car might not even idle!

Or install one the correct way in the Exhaust and it will make it even more more powerful because it will suck the exhaust out of the engine making it less restrictive!

Mighty car mods did a show on these and it turns out they reduce your power due to load on the electric system, they ended up strapping two battery powered leaf blowers to there hood to get more power aha
