  • Possible Power Antenna Switch?

I've had this switch in my festiva GL and I've never known what it was for. When I switch it the tiny red light comes on. Nothing happens. There are 2 wires connected to the thing.

    Any idea's?

In this photo I pulled the switch out to have a look

I've seen similar switches come with aftermarket foglight kits, but it could be for any number of aftermarket accessories that may or may not still be on your car. The only way you can know for sure is trace the wires coming off the switch and see where they lead.

I tried to follow the wires but only through the tiny square hole haha no idea where they go. Maybe one day i'll be a bit more curious and look further into it. The switch looks to be made for the car and fits perfectly with the same exact mating piece as the blanks are. The wires are black with blue stripe

it'll remain a mystery for now
