  • brakes slow at releasing

1990 200k miles and brakes are slow at releasing...what is solution...clean. bleed master cyl and all wheel cylenders,,seem to function in traffic normal as far as I can determine,, start up in am brakes are applied from night before ,,reverse and forward a few times ,they release till next time..any one have a clue..i tried not to use the hand brake ,,,seems like the main braking system is the culprit? I'm going to sell the car but not with that conditionDSC01282.jpg

Front caliper slide pins maybe your issue.
Mine stick slightly when it sits for a several days but just from rust on the rotors.
    Oh and how much?

You can get new Slide pins for really cheap on RockAuto.com, or you can just clean them up with a Wire wheels or scuff pad.

Believe it or not sometimes the brake hoses due clog up. I my self found this hard to believe but one day an old guy replace a brake hose on a truck and to my surprise fixed the hanging brakes.
