Why cant you orientate it so the lettering faces up and what is the top when installed in the car is verticle when printing?

I use way less supports when printing it standing up and it takes a lot less time. As is it already takes 4 1/2 hours to print one off. I don't understand your last part of the question... "and what is the top when installed in the car is verticle when printing?"
Well its a 90 degree shape, right now the side with lettering is verticle and the other good face is horizontal facing up in the machine right? Or are you printing it with the length verticle?
Here is how I have been printing them. The photo of it standing up tall, less supports. The other photo is how I believe you suggest BUT look at all the supports to hold it up and I put a photo of how much longer this would take...almost 8 hours. The words would come out better but for double the time.
That is a huge time difference and im sure your support materiel isnt that cheap. I had meant the side with the hole facing up so a little less support but same diff.
How good are you at gluing?
You could print in 2 parts.
But honestly the way your doing it doesnt look bad at all.
I got mine in the mail yesterday, I will try my best to get it wired this weekend and get some pictures.

Glad it made it. Hope all works well. Can't wait to see her lit up. Hey, how about adding an on/off switch or do you guys prefer them being on all the time?
Here is where the wiring goes for the meters. Just heard from Chris and he stated that the plate kind of teeters because of being to think at the 90 degree. Are you other guys having the same issue? If so I'll make it right.
Got my volt meter installed FINALLY. You can see on the edge where I used my dremel to shave down the edges. Also I drilled out the holes that the screw goes in. Don't worry if the screw holes crack it'll still grab, and they don't have to be torqued to 100 ft/lbs.

Yep, I see em now. Ya gonna take photos of how you are going to wire it up? I wish it fit better. You gonna paint it brown?
Yeah I will wire it up hopefully in the next week or so. I kinda wanna paint it but I keep finding rust spots on my car I don't like so I keep saying I'm going to replace the chassis which will probably end up with gray interior.
