  • Aspire factory AC compressor to Festiva

Just wondering what modifications would be required to replace the Festiva Factor AC compressor with an Aspire Factory AC compressor. There are a lot more of those compressors available at lower prices.
    Has anyone ever done this?

I sure hope something comes of this, I'm down to having to pay full price for a new pump and at $250 ouch.

It would be nice, if possible. My Aspire has the best A/C of any car I've ever owned.

Hmmmmm. Maybe I should try to fit the A/C out of the Aspire I'm parting out into my Festiva.

R134? That would be real nice. Wonder how the compressor would do with the condenser and evaporator in the Festy? Or use the Aspire condenser, Aspire Compressor, but keep the Festy evaporator and expansion valve. Might work alright.
