chrome festiva trim

is there a year/trim level that came w/ chrome trim on the outside? i saw a festiva today parked that had stock alloy rims and chrome trim along the back side edge of both doors and on the side edges of the hatch.

It was probably the clip on door gaurd you can buy at a parts store.

i thought it was probably aftermarket and didn't know for sure. figured someone here would though.

my friends brother knows the kid that owns it and he bought it from an old lady w/ 60k on it for $400. it's been sitting at a grocery store for the last 4 days and i'm gonna offer him $200. wish me luck. it's been abused since he bought it but the body is in pretty good shape and one color unlike mine. what i've been looking for to do a swap.

are you talking about the little chrome thing on the back that says "festiva"? apparently all pre-90 ones had that.

no, where the green is on this pic is where the chrome was if i remember correctly. close anyways. i think 25horseplay was right and it was just some aftermarket thing.
