  • Thinking about getting a festiva...(newbie)

    Well, actually I have a 61' bug, but with winter coming and and all, and snow and salt, I need a slightly more practical car I'm not afraid to get wet. What are the differences between the L, L Plus, and LX?

    In the mean time, here's a pic of my bug;

    Here's a festiva for sale near me- is it worth it?

    L plus = Basic model, with a few extras between 1990-93
    LX= Top of line in '88-'90
    GL= The beauty that is matching bumpers. Top of the line 91-93
    GL Sport = The beauty that is matching bumpers, as well as Factory White Alloy wheels and Rear Upper Hatch Spoiler. This model was only available in 92

      Hmmm...

      About the price....I don't know. It would have to be a FINE looking Festiva, or one of the amazing ride that we see on this site, to get $1300 out of my pocket.

            nick7764,
            Nice bug you have there.
            As for the Festiva, if its as dent and rust free as it looks in the pictures plus all the other things he says he's done to it. Then no you don't need to buy it. You need to tell me how to get there so I can buy it :lol:
            I would say the price isn't bad but you may be able to get it for less.
            It didn't say how many miles it had on it.
            I have a 1988 4 speed and get about 40mpg.
