  • Standard and Optional Equipment List for Festiva 1989 L

uhhmm I am confused with this http://www.fordfestiva.com/options1.html

About my Red 1989 Festiva L do have original AC, EFI system and 3 Speed auto (all same match VIN number on firewall) while this page chart said not available for 1989 L model to have Auto, EFI system and even AC? but 1989 L-Plus or LX model only have optionals?

How I do know if it's 1989 L-Plus or LX (since I know my emblem show only "Festiva L" it don't show any old mark of LX or outline of sticker "Plus" ) But what about "Plus" it was emblem or sticker label for 1989?

    Note:

My 1989 Festiva car inside do not have rear two seat fold, Not have "cloth" on door panels, not installed cargo light (still tie black tape from factory), no under seat tray (there no metal rails for support tray) Also don't have power mirror too... :?

But have EFI system, 3 spd Auto, and AC factory.

Not sure about the 89s. My 88 is an L plus, I only know this because I bought it new.
In 88 the L plus came with A/C, Rear Defrost, AM/FM Cassett, and the hockey stick strip down the side.

dealers did a lot of different things to try to move these.. I wouldn't be surprised if was an L plus model with dealer added options..

Maybe your right... but what about auto 3 speed there have same VIN stamp on transaxle as match the firewall VIN?

                Done from factory or dealer?

L Plus w/efi-atx option Factory. A/C most likely a dealer option, but could be factory as well.

I see... My EFI Festiva 1989 L should have been Festiva L - Plus model but "Plus" never said on my pink slip and even carfax record.

I guess could be someone at factory worker first owner brought it and "custom option" installed EFI system with Auto 3 speed with just body of Festiva 1989 L lol

Quite little still mystery to me

Like I said mine is an 88 L Plus but it doesn't say it anywhere on the car.
I only know it was a L plus because when I bought it that's what was on the window sticker.
