No one has attempted it as far as I know. It's a obd2 vehicle so you'd either have to grab the entire rio wiring harness and ecu, figure out how to run it on the festy harness and ecu, or use a aftermarket ecu and harness
I forget how weird the intake manifold is on those.

If it bolts in like the B6D it might be a good, newer option to it. The B6Ds will eventually run out.

I haven't stuck our 2003 rio 1600 in Cleo yet, but it looks like it will fit on the stock centerline. I don't know how different the intake is from an 2000-2001.
