Got my new FMS spoiler today : )

Got my brand spanking new rear hatch spoiler from FMS today. Its like Xmas in Nov. Ill install in immeadiately. It came with the sticky tape and caps.

I bought it on ebay for $99.95. One day about a month ago, two or three popped up on ebay. I think they all sold at the buy it now price. This thread from triggerhappy235 is how I came across it.

do you have mounting instructions? did it come with hole inserts for the sheetmetal?

No, it didnt come with any anchors. The last one I put on , I just predrilled a hole slightly smaller then the stainless sheetmetal screw I was using, plus some good sealant around the mounting surface and the new screw holes. I was gonna ask ramichael what he did.

I made a rubber gasket from a bicycle tube.

I used clear RTV silicone sealant on mine. It seals and bonds it to the car.

I'm a backwoods (hillbilly) person i use bicycle tubes to make gaskets all the time, i even used it to make new door lock gaskets. :lol:

I used a garden hose o-ring on mine.. easier.
