    Getting close now...

    Just an update if anyone's interested?
    We are nearing the cruicial 'start up' time. I have booked the car in for computer install and tune for 1st thing in January. At this stage the motor will be tuned on Avgas, 4psi, 3500rpm rev limited, and run in for 2000km.

    After that, i will re book it in for rev limit removal, and up the fuel and boost. I dont know how much the engine will take, but i am aiming for 200fw kw. Anything over is a bonus- but we'll see.'
    Then i'll aim to (legally) get on the road and have some fun. I will keep you all posted.

        Let's see if I remember my conversion correctly. 200kw would equal about 270hp :shock:

            Well, i seem to have the goods as far as engine build and parts used, and i have lined up a decent tuner? What i ACTUALLY get is anyones guess. I am not asking for the world, but the calculations are there? I probably shouldn't be blowing any trumpets till that stage- but that was the 'guesstimate'.
            What i'd REALLY like to see is 240kw, but anyway....

                    how are you ever gonna get all that to the road?
                    is not sposed ta do that...

                      Guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I thought different boost for each gear? I'll let you know some time after the 8th. (When the computer and tune is done).
                      The Motec also has traction and launch control- so that's something else to look at....
