Yet another good day at PnP.

Spent the afternoon at PnP today. I was out there to help a friend out, and several good things happened.

1. Ran into Ian (Fastivaca) He was there in the Ford section as usual, gathering Festy supplies. It was good to see him again, even though it's only been a day since we had lunch!

2. Got a posi, 3.55, disc brake rear end from an '82 Volvo for an insane Chevette project.

3. Found a good dome light in an Escort. (it's the first part for the Festiva I do not yet own)

4. My friend made $20 for a couple of minutes work for someone who didn't bring tools. (he tried turning it down, but the guy insisted)

5. I made a buck, because the same guy wanted to buy a smoke from me. (I tried turning it down, too)

All in all, it was a good afternoon of hanging out with friends, and wrenching on cars.

yeah, I met an older gentleman pulling festy parts at our PnP the other day and told him about the site. Its good to find other people that are crazy enough to drive these things!

I want folks to know Im in NM state right now. At the U-pull's there are alot of Festiva's. Many rust free, if folks ever need parts hit me up and I will see what I can do cause parts are cheap and usually in good shape internal and external.

Hey, eye_of_ra93: I could use the little cap/button that goes on top of the shifter with the gear pattern on it for a five speed? Ill think of many other things just as soon as I submit this post.
