  • Festy weight distribution

I was wondering if anyone knows the weight distribution on a Festiva?

Also does anyway know the speedo gear ratios and if there are different ones available?

Speedo gears like the ones that plug into the trans or different gear ratio's for the trans itself?

Weight distrubtion um I'm going to say at least 65% over the front wheels

why dont you take the curb weights off of the vin sticker on the door and devide the front number into the whole curb weight, and do the same for the back...... the reciepiant number you got off the calculator example 36. Take 100-36= 64 that would be the front weight and the back would be 36. Get what im saying?

Umm yeah I was guessing. 70% is reasonable too, for a front driver.

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

Last time I had my car on a scale it was 1150F and 600R. That means roughly 65:35. This is without the driver.

FWD cars like to be a little front heavy, it helps counteract understeer.

unforchinitly with the light weight of the festiva you'll find the rear end likes to trail out on you... easy to fix, but the limit isn't very impressive. Maybe the aspire rear end would help.

Thanks for answers on weight. I was asking about the actual speedometer drive and driven gears not the differential gearing....
