  • Tire location

Ok i didn't know where to put this topic so if it needs to be moved, please do it.

First off, I was having a discussion with a co-worker of mine about where the best tires should be on a car. Front or Rear.

I want everyone's opinion about this, BUT I DONT WANT PEOPLE CALLING EACHOTHER WRONG. This is an opinion based question. I dont care about what the professionals at Michelin and Goodyear say. I want peoples personal experience and opinion.

    Thanks ahead of time.

Front - that's where most of the braking work is done.

This discussion is right for this subforum, no need to move it. I would also put the best tires up front

This is kind of obvious for a Festiva.. more weight in the front, more braking in the front, steering is in the front as well as the drive train..

All of these factors are why a good tire is required. But, with that I will add this.. Bald tires on the back and good tires on the front is a bad thing as well.. the ass end WILL easily come around on you on in wet weather.
