Mextiva got Broken inn....

I drive my Festiva all week and park it on the weekend to use another car.I have been living on this private apartment complex for over 5 months.I could only park two of my cars in there so the others have to be parked on the streets.I have the Z in the one car garage and My 2001 Sentra S.E. in the permit parking spot.
Mextiva has been running for a little over a month,same time being parked there....This weekend I saw a really nice Festiva driving on the road and Mom noticed it too.She said it was nice too.When I got to where I live,I was telling her to look @ that nice car parked there (Mextiva)...I noticed the passenger seat was forward,I never leave them like that.So I got off my car thinking the worst,Worst was the case....But I can say I got lucky,One of the 10'' subs was right by the passenger door and the other was on the rea folded seat.My amp was disconected.All my cd's where there too,My gauges intact....All I was missing was like $10 in coins.So they tried taking my stereo system but failed.....I'm glad....Now Mextiva has no music and will never have any as long as I'm there....My gauges are coming off so they wont draw attention.....This is the second time this happened.Last time they took my mids and gauges.....I'm happy,I got lucky....

I forgot to say this guy's were smarter than the other guys and didn't jam my lock.Last time the driver side was damaged.I will replace them both sometime.....I will add an alarm too even though there will be nothing of value...

Wow im glad to hear they didnt get away with anything of real value. Still sucks when stuff like that happens. It always makes my heart pound when I realize someones messed with one of my cars. Kinda scary too that almost any Festiva can be unlocked with almost any Festiva key

You can unlock any festiva with a foot long thin metal strap in about 10 seconds. Thiefs... my pet peeve.

^^^^I wonder if my motor came alive and the blow off valve whistle scared the crap out of them...LOL.....Nah I wonder what happened,cause they left everything half way.I hope the security guy gave then a good run or they got cought by the police...I kind of knew this was coming,This is the reason for me going to every stock gauge I can use,(posted on the turbo forum)....I checked further and they did try the driver side lock but had no chance since its already broken.Passenger side was an easy access.I also saw they try taking my boost gauge....The plastic between the gauge cluster and the steering is either unbolted or broken from one side,I dont think its unbolted but hope so...

man that really sucks!!!! but look at it this way, if they would have stole your boost gauge, stereo etc. at least your car was still there

Just one more reason I never have a stereo in my project cars. Well that, and I just love the music an engine makes.

I love music and Mextiva is my daily driver...Now I have no music,Ipod comes to mind!!!

Ipod is the way to go. All your tunes in your pocket, on your computer, in your living room on that stereo, at your friends' on their computer, stereo, etc etc etc.

I never have music in my project cars either but thats soley for weight purposes, I know how it feels to get jacked though bro, my talon got broken into for a 60 dollar jensen head unit a couple years back and it wasnt the item they took that bothered me so much it was the fact that it was my vehicle with my investment sitting in my peaceful driveway and somebody had the nerves to just break in and have what they want. I got sick to my stomache.

What sucks is that they will do $500 worth of damage to a window or dash to get an item they will sell at a pawn shop for $25.
