with my 94' escort i can pull the key out of the ignition while the car is running. is this common with festivas? because i absolutley love this feature, i can go start my car on a cold morning and take my keys back to the house with me to lock the house, i can unlock the hatch without shutting of the car, exct exct. any chance finding this feature in a festiva?

mines like that. but then again i can start it with anything that doesnt give when i turn it. haha.

I had this key ring for years. Its made by Snap On tools. Its great for the reason you mentioned

One of my festy's did that. I just kept wiggling the key in & out @ stop lights till it wore down the key & tumblers enough to pull it out while driving.
