                  For the cleaning I think you'd probably want to talk to the curber I bought the car from. The guy's a pro. He knows (and I knew, and he knew I knew) that he's selling crappy cars, so he'd better make them look good.

                  In this case the car has a decent body and interior, but that 1.3 is tired and noisy. Good thing I'll be putting it to rest within a month or two.

                    Whats wrong with the motor? And what is that thing on the firewall just to the left of the windsheild motor that has a white connector on it?

                      Not 100% what that is yet. Probably a voltage regulator?

                      The engine has over 208,000kms on it, and has a pretty good top end knock. It sounds like my friend's original Festy engine. That one had a chipped valve. One way or the other, it's getting a 1.8, probably a B8, rather than a BP. I was going to make suspension my priority, but doing the engine first won't be a problem.
