  • Surer cold still starts.

Wow it has been super cold here in Iowa. I have been driving my gas hog 4wd. Festiva has been sitting out in the cold for weeks now and the other day it was -7 w/out windchill. Brushed off the snow, pryed open the doors and it started right up. Let it warm up for a while and took it out and drove it. Great little car. Everyone should have at least one of them.

I keep mine pampered in a heated shop. They are great in the snow though.

this is cold... and add wind, you feel like -45 deg cel ( -45 f. )

yes engine start but must have a good battery and 5w30 or 0 w 30.

Cold weather is my Festivas enemy. I have to pump the gas ten or so times to get it to start in the kind of weather we have been having. After it warms up for a few minutes it does alright. I need to figure out what its problem is.--Jeremie

so does that mean that 20w50 oil is bad for festiva in the winter?

Yeah, my car is carbed. 20w50 seems to thick for any Festiva, anytime of the year.--Jeremie
