  • Sigh...

well any one who hasnt read my rant about the ghetto kids chasing me down, you should read that first.

If you guys recall from my story, when i tried to leave from the kids i went over a kid and i thought i pulled the muffler off (has happened before twice) but when i went to go under my car to put my muffler back on i noticed every thing was still in tact... So im confused, so i go start my car and i look in the engine bay and i see smoke coming from my manifold.... Turns out when i hit the curb it pushed up on my down pipe and resulted in two snapped bolts holding my turbo to my manifold..

Now i have to tow my car home cause i cant work on it here and theres no shops around here i trust working on my car, let alone not paying way to much money.

this kind of problem really makes me want to get a new car...

That sucks. You probably should have a daily driver anyways so you don't have to rely in the turbo car.

You gotta love ghetto kids. If you need a place to work on it instead of towing it home your more than welcome to bring it here (its about 2.5-3hours from you I think). We have a drive way big enough for a festy and a shed out back I just haven't brought my tools up here yet.

he is actually planning on selling it, we talked about it for a while last night, I am certain thats what this post is about. If he sells it, it will be a sad sad day for ff.com, lets try and talk him out of it.

At least fix it and drive it for a while before you make the decision. Don't make a hasty decision and regret it a few years from now. Which I know you will

Just because it doesn't have a BPT under the hood that's no reason to sell it.

hey man, if i had that car there'd be no way i'd sell it, the more modifying that gets done the more it takes to maintane, buy a nice stock festiva for a daily driver, keep the b6t for the weekend driver

                        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
                        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

                              Ian,

Im in the same boat as you are.I will upgrade the Festiva and leave it stricktly for racing even though it will be driven when I want on the streets....I feel the car needs to be on a safe place now,It got broken in where I live so Its going to be @ my brother after it gets upgraded.

On the daily driver,Im not looking for a new car,I just want something realible.I have a 91 accord but I dont like the color and it will be sold to buy a 97 to 99 Nissan Maxima. Those cars are dirt cheap. They have more than needed in confort and power,For a daily driver that is.....you can choose either a 5 spd or automatic..
