i've searched, but i cant find a clear answer, are the flat folding seats only a 88-90LX thing or can you do this with any festiva?

As far as I know you can do that with any Festiva of any year!

flip the back down and raise the bottom forward while unfolding the back again. The back folds all the way back over and underneath the stops and you can flatten the whole thing out. Kinda hard to explain, but if you get back there and start messing with it you can probably figure it out. Its a neat feature, but I still haven't found much use for it... tried to sleep back there once when my car broke down at work and I had to be back there in the morning anyway (6 hours later)... that didn't work out so good, lol... but then again I am 6'3" so I was pretty cramped...No festiva for me ATM...Comment

^^ What he said! My 88L does the same thing. But ya kinda have to push the front seats forward to do it. Atleast farther than I usually like it. :wink:

It works better with 88-90 LX models because you can remove the headrests.Comment
