The last time i posted an update, i had the car back home.
Two days ago i had the pleasure of taking it for a quick spin on a quiet road near my mates property, and i am very happy with the result. Seems 1st gear is waste of time- especially with the rev limiter set so low. The transition to 2nd is a little slow till boost comes on, rapidly increasing as revs get higher, but short lived (once again with 5000rpm), The real fun is the transition from 2nd to 3rd. With boost still on at a low 2500rpm, the torque is incredible and it just seems to pull so hard all the way to 5000rpm. I then slowed and downshifted to 2nd and bought the boost back on, and to my suprise- broke traction! All this on only 4psi!
I have compared it to driving my friends renault clio sport. It pulls very similarly.
Anyway, just trying to save some more money for rego and then more boost. I'm guessing that will be something to look forward to! I will try my hardest to do a video, but without rego- that may be too high a risk to acompllish. Anywayz, thanks for listening to my rant!
