Well it was time to begin the ol' spring tune up. After 3 hours browsing the forums I was well armed to perform these little tasks.
Hats off to the guys who posted info on the 5w 30 synthetic motor oil, I got myself a 4 l jug and away I went at it. I spun on a K&N Oil filter and filled her up... Me likey very much. Then the forum with the post regarding the transmission oil for a manual tranny, well I took that to heart and got myself some 0W20 synthetic and got that in.... Did I mention my shift feels so much better! And then I was in heaven while I finished the plugs (Copper Ac Delco) wires 8mm, and new cap and rotor... Now I know this may sound very boring to you long time builders, but for me this was my first crack at doin' this stuff myself in the backyard.
I'm moving on into a seat replacement, wheels and paint... That will keep me well engaged this year.
Thanx guys with your help in the forums I was able to make this a reality.
