  • Thanx again

Well it was time to begin the ol' spring tune up. After 3 hours browsing the forums I was well armed to perform these little tasks.

Hats off to the guys who posted info on the 5w 30 synthetic motor oil, I got myself a 4 l jug and away I went at it. I spun on a K&N Oil filter and filled her up... Me likey very much. Then the forum with the post regarding the transmission oil for a manual tranny, well I took that to heart and got myself some 0W20 synthetic and got that in.... Did I mention my shift feels so much better! And then I was in heaven while I finished the plugs (Copper Ac Delco) wires 8mm, and new cap and rotor... Now I know this may sound very boring to you long time builders, but for me this was my first crack at doin' this stuff myself in the backyard.

I'm moving on into a seat replacement, wheels and paint... That will keep me well engaged this year.

Thanx guys with your help in the forums I was able to make this a reality.

The K&N wasn't the best choice, but ioh well. Isn't working on your own car fun?

Isn't working on your own car fun?!?! ummmm HE** no!!! I would rather someone else do it for the price of material only, but since that will not happen I am stuck doing my work. But than again my fest has a gremlin like in the bugs bunny cartoon. Instead of taking the bomber apart and hitting a bomb this one is hurting my festy and pushing my tools from the engine the all of the worst place to try and find them!!!

My suggestion for seats would be from a 93 prelude. Very comfortable and simple to make work.

Wow I had one of those in my DSM. This is what I use:

          Its my automotive gremlin trap.

I got it at american science & surplus.

Last time someone opened it, his car got t-boned the next day.
