ok yall heres what i did today,

started by spraying resolve on the interior carpet, then scrubbed it pretty good and then took a water bottle and sprayed some water on it, then took a shop vac to vac it out, worked fairly well still see a few spots but looks alot brighter.

then checked the air in the tires and aired 2 of em up,

then tightend the vc bolts, think i snapped one but wont be a prob getting out, since its on top of the motor lol, but the head of the bolt is still there and tried to turn by hand and wouldnt budge but ill look tomm when i get to school to see if it broke off, but some were farily loose.

then got a box from my garage that i got for dads delray for his door panels but he did them the night before i got the box lol so used that to make a hatch shelf, took 3 layers of cardboard, cut to the length/width measurements i took from the car were 14 1/2" wide and 36 1/2" long, but added an extra half inch and only had to trim just a little, but gonna glue the fabric to it after supper then ill take pics, i just needed somthin to hide the stuff in my hatch cause i got a feeling that with this stuff going on between my neighbors somthin is gonna happen to the cars.

anyway keep a look out for pics of the hatch cover

That looks cool , was that cardboard , or thin plywood .
I want to recover mine , but the anchors have pulled out on both sides ,and when I tried to rivet it , it just pulls them thru the wood .

I was going to try to cover mine in a waving U.S. flag material from Wallmart .

just 3 layers of a cardboard box we had laying in the garage, shoulda glued the 3 layers but its just packing tape holding together on all 4 sides, then spray glue for the fabric and took another piece of cardboard and glued it for reinforcement, (didnt help for strength wise but holding stuff isnt its purpose yet) lol. thats the same fabric i used on my hatch floor. just wat was left over. its awful dang close to matching the interior.

i dunno what to call it, i just took in my hatch floor carpet and matched it up, its like a felt material. not very strong you could prolly pull it apart by hand if u wanted to, id compare it to a weak cotton material. but just take a sample of ur carpet in and look around, thats what i did.
