Took a new GTI for a ride while the girlfriend looked at a Cabrio. What a fun car to drive, it has a 2.0 liter 200hp turbo 4 cylinder with a 6 speed DSG tip tronic trans! The salesman was really cool, he showed me how to do a "controlled launch" with it. This is where you put it in sport mode on the shifter turn off traction control, hold the brake and rev it to 3500 RPM and let it go!!!!!!! It takes off like you dumped a clutch or something! These are a limited production car with 1200 being imported. And they are all orange with special rims. I tell you if I was in the market for a new daily driver I might consider this one!

They are just a slighty tuned mkV GTI. Mainly its the color & interior options. But yes they are very nice. The DSG is the best semi-auto and I might even think about getting one when I get old or something.
