My Project Aspire just turned into my Project Festiva

I haven't been here in a while, mostly just surfing the threads here and on FordAspire.com. While the Aspire has been mechanically good to me, it's looks have been neglected bad. My intro thread can be found here...

I've been looking for a Festiva for a while now, especially since I already have an Aspire as a parts car for the engine, and suspension. Well after much searching, I found this...



I know it's not much to look at now, but it has a clean title, it's accident free, and rust free, and I found it in Albuquerque, NM.

It has a blown engine that was never replaced. Here's the kicker....



That is actual mileage.

The car came with most of the front clip, which is in the car, but lacks seats and some rear interior panels.

I'm looking forward to spending more time on this car as I've always prefered the look of the Festiva.

Strange the engine would be blown with only 34,000 miles on it :? Never heard of such a thing.
