ok i need some help/suggestions. i took my festiva in to the trans shop last week it has a b6t swap and g25mr well the trans has been leaking. i found the leak its coming from the shifter linkage a bad seal i guess well the trqans shop cant find a seal and there discontinued. so there is my problem does anyone know where i can get a seal for the shifter linkage? what other cars can cross refrence with that seal i was thinking maybe an escort? i would really like to find a rebuild kit for the g25mr does anyone have any info?? any suggestions? i dont want to have to change a perfectly good tray for a little seal. it leaks pretty bad but the trans is good.

ok F3BZ may have a lead on a seal ( i will owe you so big!!!) so im crossing my fingers if not i will have to pull my spare trans apart and see if we can match it up with another G series trans or hopefully something from McMaster carr. thanks for the info all! -

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.Comment

the same seal is used in the festy trans (same part #). i am ordering a few. will post when they come in.Comment

When I ordered one for my Festiva trans, it was wrong - They got me one that fit but was NOT exactly the same as the original. The replacement they got me would not allow the Rubber Booty thing to clip on.Comment
