what engines , from which cars will fit in the festiva ?

also what years wdo they have to be ?

also will any other cars front seats bolt up ? id like some nice cushiony ones that arent made of cheap vinyl. thanks

go down to the section labeled "swaps" they have 3 main types, Turbos, Normaly Asperated and Complicated . Just spend a night in there .

well the reason im asking for a list is becuase it will be easier than looking , ive gotta make some junk yard calls today and a list would really help find me some parts.

Any engine, from any car, from any year, will fit in the festiva. It all depends on how much work you are willing to do. But, based on the fact you aren't willing to do any research, it shows you are not willing to do much work, so only the stock motor will fit. The years for the stock motor for your car is 1990 to 1993 festivas. Also 1989 automatic festivas.

It's always easier to ask, it's also easier to take it to a shop and say, PUT AN ENGINE IN THIS..

The thing is, all the info is here. In stickies, in posts, on the search feature. Heck just browse the engine swap forums.. it's all here. No need to ask, just read your way to the answers.

If you are going to do the swap, you can't be lazy, so start not being lazy now, and read. The info is all here in the forums, right at your fingertips.

When I first signed on, I read about the easy swaps on this forum, and had answers within minutes, without making a single post, asking someone to spoonfeed me the answers.

I THINK that is what folks are trying to say, I could be wrong.

The easy answer is B6, B6T, BP... Mazda,Capri,Escort.... JDM stuff off ebay, and with some imagination, ANYTHING.

I heard that VW Rabbit seats will bolt up.

I'm not 100% sure on that, just going by what I was told.

if you have a pair of hog ring pliers you can always find another mazda and undo the seat covers and with a little extra foam and duct tape fill in the needed foam in the festivas innnards to fill out the new seat cover.

fiero guys do that all the time to rebuild the insides of their seats after they wear down, get some new leather covers for couple hundred, tape and refoam up the insides of the old seat, put new cover overtop. reinstall hog rings. enjoy brand new looking and feeling seat for dirt cheap.
