    I can't believe it!!!!

    I found a '92L with 90k on it that wouldn't start. The body was in great shape and it looked absolutely awesome.

    I negotiated a price of $250 for it, and called up the owner to pay for it today.

    Guess what happened! Her boyfriend GAVE it to one of his friends over the weekend!!!!!!!!!!! I already had a deal pending and was going to pick up the car today!

    This makes me SO MAD!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I can't believe it happened! WTF!!!!! :evil:


    My day has been ruined.

        That sucks ! Low mileage festys in great shape are rare anymore.

              Well, I have to look at the bright side of this.

              It's $250 I can invest in my B6 Festiva, which needs a water pump, timing belt, clutch and valve cover gasket.

              But I am still furious about this.

                  well i lost my only source of income today...
                  and have lost a great deal like that one a festy and a xr2.
                  i know it seems bad but when you invest that in the B6 im sure you will be much happier!
                  There is no replacement for displacement, except for the turbo in my basement.

                    I'm not a lawyer, but if you had a bill of sale and gave them a deposit, you own that festy. Even without one, you still have a legal verbal contract to purchase it.

                    We ALWAYS use a bill of sale for vehicle purchases to keep stuff like this from happening.
