  • Hopefully by tonight my wife will own a festiva

Ah yes, like a proud father the day his child says his first words, I am happy to announce that by tonight my wife should be the proud owner of the Big Bird Yellow festiva that my uncle owns. Some of you might remember this festiva from Spring Ohiostiva last year. The car has about 50,000 miles on it and I should be getting it for $1500. I think the asking price is fair, the car just had the spindles and bearings replaced, and has been well maintained. A new basic paint job about 2 years old, and is rust free.

My wife is finally caving into the festiva virus!

Now if I can only find someone to either take over the payments on my 2003 Mazda B3000 or buy it off from me everything would be peachy!

Now she will have you modding hers instead of yours

It was originally maroon I believe, but some of you all remember I drove it to the Spring 2006 Ohiostiva meet. He did repaint it yellow but it was a quick job just to make it more noticeable. So on the insides of the door and the engine bay are all still maroon.

My Aunt is the reason that my uncle is selling it. She hates him driving it no matter how good the gas mileage is. Yes my wife does want a fesitva as cool as mine, she doesn't want to drive it as her daily driver, but it will give me an excuse to have another one ;-) Once my turbo is done on the G'tiva and I get the paint finished that car is done anyways. I have always wanted one totally stock, one show car, and one awd, or Rwd sleeper. Almost there.

My uncle does want 1500 for it which I don't have, but I am hoping to work something out with him as far as payments, or a deposit till I sell some other vehicles off.

My wife wants to get a G5 for her daily driver since our new truck she hates, I will have to sell that... Or if worse comes to worse I will have to sell the truck for a loss and pay of the remainder, which I really don't want to do. She might just be stuck with it till it is paid off in 4 years :-)

Worked out the details with my uncle, the car is going to be mine as soon as I sell the Vitara, now lets hope I can find someone to buy it soon.

I remember when DJ posted that...I was laughing, found it funny. Not the yellow or the tweety seat covers or anything....just that it looked like that before it was transformed into Techno. It reminded me of the wimpy kid growing up to be a tough guy.....hehehe!
