Gas mileage

I have done a few things to my car since we got back from Colorado .

I know how to check mileage , but I cannot believe this one ..
120 miles and it took 1.8 gal and I topped it to 2.0 gal.

I filled the same before we left this evening , just a few 10ths after it clicked off , as when we got back , filled the same way .

We went out of town to go eat dinner , I drove 55 most of the time and never over 60 , filled at the same station , only a few miles were in town .

I will need to check again tomorrow , I have never seen those kind of numbers :shock:

I think you need to get the average of several full tanks to get accurate readings. A full tank at the least.

I usually run it down , where it will take 8 gal. at least .

I was just doing a small test after some work , I always fill it the same though , still even if it was off a little one way of another , that is still way over 50 , you can only put so much gas in it :lol:
