saturday i went to 4 junkyards and used an umbrella to keep me cool. people were looking at me saying it is a good idea. will i start a new trend in the junk yards? one worker said that he uses a big patio umbrella with a stand when he works on his car. has anyone else used a big patio umbrella before? what else has anybody else used to keep the sun off them while working on the car.

I've got a 10x10 "Eazy-Up" that I used... It's basically a big canopy that stands up pretty easily. We use it at car shows too.Simon - pimptiva.com -
I use one of those too and they offer a pretty good amount of shade but you have to move the thing around at least every hour to keep up with the sun!Soon to be BP'ed 92' white Festy from Worcester
