I just made one out of high temp. gasket maker (comes in a sheet, it's asbestes I think) that way you can cut it exactly to fit your head/exhaust with no overlap 8) and that stuff is only like 7 bucks at Canadian Tire

i'm pretty sure an exhaust gasket would be pretty cheap

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

According to autozone.com, you can get the really cheap one for 4.99, or you can go all out and spend 10.99 for the primo one. Think if it was me, I'd go ahead and change it.

whatever. i smeared some exhaust system sealant on the gasket and torqued it back on, ran the engine for 5 minutes to cure the stuff, and it dosent leak so its all good.
