  • Festiva Cop Car pics?

I tried the search feature and got either everything or nothing!

Anyone have a pic of a "Festiva police car?"

I'd like to print it out and put it on my locker at work.

Along with the very small pic of five Festivas being parted out and the larger pic of the "General Pee." Oooo that's a cute one, and the orange goes nicely with my grey locker!

Since I'm in security and we share our buildiing with OSU-PD, a po-po Festy would be very fitting.

I looked on all my CDs for a Festiva cop car, but no luck. Must have went out with some files in between backups.

It was one of a Florida Highway Patrol. Photoshopped, but quite realistic.

If anyone likes to play Fest-a-cop, use the alloy wheels from the Escort LX-E with an Aspire brake swap.

Brushed centers remove so you can paint rest of wheel satin black, same as done on period trooper Mustangs of the time.

exactly how big is McFall ,MO? isn't the festiva a little big for a 1/4 horse town?

lol actually i'm with the harrison county sheriff department, out of bethany mo. it's around 3,000 people. still small but northern mo is the meth lab capital of the world. yippiee we are famous for something. I wouldn't wanna work for a department in a larger city, they are just glorified paper pushers, mostly just doing gun permits and serving ex partes, while the city police handle all the fun stuff. it's different in the smaller towns.

I was surfing the web for Festiva pics, and came across this:

                WOW! HAPPYMOM COMES THROUGH!!

Not only did she find a bona fide "Festiva cop car," belonging to the London Metro Police, but it is labelled as a "1998 Ford Festiva."

                1998?

                Not a Demio!

                Not a "Kia Pride."

It does indeed look like a modernized Ford Festiva, with a rounded front end, four doors like the S. American models, the rubber strips along the top/sides of the roof, same door handles, etc.

Looks like newer seats, RHD (of course), a yellow side light behind the front wheel wells, and an oval grille with a Ford blue oval emblem inside that.

I had no idea this model existed!

Ford Festivas were apparently made up until at least 1998!

That would be "Ford of England," I suppose.

                Just one thing...

I went to Ebay UK and typed in "Ford Festiva."

Only one car: an American model!

And a few parts: all American!

                What gives?

HappyMom, are you playing with PHOTOSHOP????

                This don't make sense. :?:

Don't know how to photoshop, so my best guess would be it's a Fiesta ops:

Nice Aspire! Where is it from?

HappyMom, the Fiesta was what I was thinking.

Some of the lines are not exactly like a Festiva. For example, the rubber line on the roof sides should extend directly from the corner of the windshield as on my Mutt I just compared it with. The short A pillar/front fender junction is also not the right angle.

Yes, that was a fiesta, because here's the same kind of car:

i love how the mercedes van was a diplomatic protection vehicle...it's so tall, all the terrorists have to do is force it to turn sharply...

Nah, look at what Dubai has for Police cars, they have a fleet of exotics, mainly because that is what like 80% of the cars on the road over there are.

Welcome to Dubai: Site of the world’s fastest and most expensive cop cars! If you plan on trying to outrun the police in Dubai, get ready to receive a 200+mph pass directly to jail. The Dubai…
