    i have been saving for my 51 ford i will be getting before long. it has the flathead v8 in it and everything.

    ive got like 500 saved now and im only paying 650 for it. (same guy i bought my gremlin from) but im usually working mon wens thurs fri and sunday. i think im going to try to take off the weekend before aug. 14. (my 20th birthday :lol: ) and go pay for it and find a place to store it.

    but its been real hard not to spend this money and im sure yall know what i mean.

    i have been trying to get this for 2 years (money wise) but finally almost have it.

    funny thing about this ford. this is the one my dad wanted when he got the 50. lol. anyway im gonna get rdy for bed. work at 8 tomm. then school tomm night.

    man i know, just keep saving you will be happy that you did. i saved up 1600 for 2 months and spent it in only 3 weeks when i was only 400 shy of my goal, i know it sounds dumb but a few tanks of gas here, and some not necessarily necessity repairs on my neon left me broke and truckless in no time.:'(
    There is no replacement for displacement, except for the turbo in my basement.

      yep. i hear the repair thing lol.

      my downpipe is cracked and i need to have it welded but i may just wait since its been cracked this long lol. depending on what the shop ima call wens will charge to weld it up.

        I feel your pain. I've been two years trying to save enough money to do all the needed repairs on the Batstiva. Seems like every time I get close, something else comes along and sucks away all the money I have busted my butt to save. :evil: :evil: Enough to make ya crazy.

        This is why I've got a big push going to fix her up now, cause I've got the money, and I don't want to blow it on something else. :roll:

          I know that feeling everytime I get ready to do my B6T swap something coems along. I have been trying to get it done for 2 years!
