  • Which recent auto-trans. subcompact . . . r/o pls.

. . . is most comparable to a 1991 Ford Festiva GL (in terms of feel, performance, etc.)? I'm sad that Ford doesn't make the Festiva anymore.

    Make/model can be from 2001 - 2006.

Just curious. Thank you in advance.

Are you looking to get another car that is comparable to a Festiva or some upgrade for the car? Ford Escort is close.

I had a Toyota Yaris as a courtesy car a while back. Nice car, fun to drive...a bit like a Festiva.

Seems to me like the Ford Focus zx3 is probably the closest Ford comes to the Festiva anymore. Tho, have heard some not too kind things about the suspension on those. They seem to wear out quickly.

Yaris is my best guess. The Scion XA might be close too. There's always a gti.

Kia Rio is just about festiva gen 3. Yaris 2dr is another car I was looking into getting. Only problem is the center guage cluster.

Kia Rio is about the same now that I think about it. My girlfriend has one.

Scion XA is nothing like a festiva. Small yes, but the suspension is too soft and then you have the Toyota "sluggishness".
