Timing belt info...

Is this info true...I'm looking at a second festiva and the belt broke so the guy will let it go pretty cheap.

Any thoughts. I'm not doubting the above info just looking for more info/opinions. Ive mostly owned Nissan and when those belts go...well it usually ain't pretty.

yes, Festiva engine free-wheels, no interference. Just put a new belt on and go.....

Thanks...the dude called some wrecking yard and sent it on its way :evil: I told him I was coming to get it this afternoon. :evil: He stumbled and started saying he didnt think I was realy going to come and get it... blah blah blah. Im kinda pissed would have been nice to have another Festy for $75. The wrecking yard said they sell it to me for $500. I told him he was smoking crack.
